Currently, the Amnovis team consists out of 8 people. 

JOB DESCRIPTION
As sales engineer you boost our AM contract manufacturing services by taking the lead in finding new business opportunities and converting them into revenue streams. You are the connection between the world full of opportunities for high-end AM products and our world-class engineering and manufacturing team. Growing the company by exceeding the sales targets and having happy customers: that’s what you do this for.

YOUR TASKS
Actively generate new leads through cold calling, networking and trade shows, follow-up on opportunities and convert them eventually into actual sales
Manage long-term customer relationships
Work closely with the Sales manager to define target markets, applications and customers
Manage prospect and customer meetings 
Calculate project/product costs and prepare quotations 
Have interactions and discussions with your colleagues from production and the engineering department to find the best possible way to manufacture a product

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet Amnovis’ ambitious sales targets
Identify and pursue new business and sales opportunities
Handle customer communication
Stay up to date on the status of your projects once in production
Manage multiple leads, opportunities and customer projects in parallel
Identify gaps in Amnovis’ production capabilities to meet customer needs

YOUR PROFILE
You have a MSc in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Metallurgy, Materials Sciences) . Any additional education in business administration or experience in technical sales positions is a plus.
You have a very good understanding of materials engineering & selection 
You are a true hunter type of sales person
Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Any working proficiency in Dutch, German or French is a strong plus.
Experience in working with Additive Manufacturing is a plus
If you don’t know what the material properties and applications of titanium or copper are, no problem. But if you do, that’s definitely a plus!
Working with CAD software packages is like a walk in the park for you
Dealing with customers in a professional and commercial way is your second nature
You have a strong interest in manufacturing and how things are made
You have a no-nonsense entrepreneurial mindset
You go above and beyond to meet the ambitious sales targets
You are resistant to stress and like working with challenges and deadlines
You are happy to travel up to 40% for customer visits and trade show visits/representations
